BIG & GLOWING holiday cheer coming to Round Rock for 2 amazing nights in December! Join us for Light Up the Lake, a FREE NEW 2-day holiday festival around the lake and festival area at Old Settlers Park Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5 starting at 6:30pm.

The event will feature SPECTACULAR holiday cold and hot air balloons hovering over Bright Lake, amazing light show, LIVE music, holiday displays, holiday food and refreshments, yule log and more! Old Settlers Park offers ample event space featuring 24 acres and a mile-long trail around bright lake, perfect for social distancing.

To ensure social distancing, a limited amount of FREE tickets will be issued for each night.  For general admission to the Light up the Lake event, please reserve tickets per vehicle. Select the number of people in your vehicle to complete your registrationThis ticket is only for general admission and does not include a reserved concert pod.

Live music entertainment includes the Chad Cooke Band on Friday night and the SPAZMATICS on Saturday night. Socially distant seating will be provided and reservations will need to be made prior to the events.  In order to reserve a concert pod for your group/family you must contact the Main Parks and Recreation Office. You may visit the Main Office in person, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm or call 512-218-5540. Once concert pods are reserved, you must pick up your wristbands within the established times. Concert pods are limited. For those who do not utilize a reserved concert pod, general viewing areas will be provided.

More about the Chad Cooke Band:
Four modern-day country crooners from Houston are paving their way in the Texas country music scene. In and out of honky-tonks from Oklahoma City to San Antone, the Chad Cooke Band delivers 3 & 4 part harmonies with a country rock-n-roll edge. 

Since the release of their debut album, Easy Way Home, in December of 2016, the Chad Cooke Band has produced 6 Top 50 singles on Texas Radio – beginning with “Oil Man”, “Easy Way Home” and “Come and Take It”. “Oil Man” continues to be a fan favorite with a music video that has amassed over 6 million views!

Seeking Food and beverage vendors
.  Vendors must comply with the rules and regulations set forth by The City of Round Rock, Williamson County and Cities Health District and the Texas Department of Health.  Food and beverage vendors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and inspections.  Inspection by Fire Marshall will occur prior to event opening.  Failure to comply with rules, regulations and permits could result in dismissal from event. COVID Safety Protocols: 
This event will practice extra sanitization throughout the festival. Our activities will be spread throughout the park, pavilion and festival area to provide extra space around all activities. Social distancing will be practiced, so please be aware of the space between yourself and other guests!  Face covering are recommended.
