Round Rock Fire responded to fire at Hunan Lion Restaurant this afternoon

Round Rock Fire Department responded to a fire at The Hunan restaurant located at 1208 R N Interstate Hwy 35, in Round Rock this afternoon.

The long serving restaurant off of I35 sustain fire and smoke damage. The fire was extinguished by 3:45 pm. Firefighters could be seen on the roof of the restaurant and the adjacent businesses were all evacuated. Several of the Fire vehicles were leaving the location and returning to service by 4:00 pm.

There were no reports of injuries.

In addition to the fire today, I 45 was shut down in both direction around 11:15 this morning due to to an individual barricaded in their vehicle. Click here for details
