Round Rock Library is teaming-up to offer Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs free workshops

The Round Rock Public Library and Austin SCORE will be offering a series of free workshops for entrepreneurs and small business owners on Fridays from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Jan. 17 through Feb. 28. SCORE is a nonprofit dedicated to helping small businesses and entrepreneurs start, develop and maintain their businesses. The Library is located at 216 E. Main Street in Round Rock. Parking is available in the City Parking Garage on South Lampasas Street. The Round Rock Public Library phone number is 512-218-7001

These free timely workshops, presented by recognized experts and practitioners, will cover a variety of issues facing small business owners and entrepreneurs including finances, marketing, and strategic planning.

What are the myths and realities of entrepreneurship? This workshop will introduce you to the world of small business and guide you to prepare for being a business owner. Willis will help you explore what it takes to be an entrepreneur, how to develop a business concept, and how to plan for becoming a business owner. He will explain your choices for owning a business and guide you to get the help you need to succeed. Franchises and how to use library research resources to tailor your business to the marketplace will also be addressed.
