Round Rock lifeguards take top honors at Central Texas Aquatics Competition 

Round Rock lifeguards were awarded first place honors at the Central Texas Aquatics Association Competition, which took place Monday, July 11 at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels.

This qualifies the team to go on to the State of Texas Lifeguard Competition where they will compete for the state title in Brenham, Texas on Aug. 1.

The Round Rock lifeguard team took home multiple other awards at the competition: 

  • 1st place in CPR Scenario
  • 2nd place in First Aid Scenario, Aquaman (Stephen Dudley)
