RRPD SEARCHING FOR MISSING AGGRAVATED ASSAULT VICTIM SHAWN JOSEPH
The Round Rock Police Department is searching for missing aggravated assault victim Shawn Joseph.
On Friday, October 6, 2023, officers responded to a call regarding a suspicious vehicle in the Walmart parking lot at 4700 E. Palm Valley Blvd.
Upon arrival, officers confirmed the vehicle belonged to missing Cedar Park resident Shawn Joseph (30).
Investigators determined Joseph was shot late Thursday evening in the parking lot and transported from the scene by the suspect. The victim’s whereabouts remain unknown, but the suspect has been arrested and taken into custody for aggravated assault.
Royce Loggins (31) is being held in the North Richland Hills Detention Center until he is extradited back to Williamson County.
This is an isolated incident, and the suspect was known by the victim.
